Dates: Wednesday March 18 - Thursday March 19

Times: 9:30am-6pm both days (will include one hour for lunch)

Location: Chatham County Aquatic Center (7240 Sallie Mood Drive)

Pre-course requirements: Students must successfully complete the online “Introduction to the Lifeguarding Instructor Course” and the pre-course skills session in order to continue in the class.

Online Pre-Course:

Students are required to complete online course prior to start of class. This online course link will be sent to students via email once the lifeguard class has been purchased. Proof of online course completion must be shown at the start of the lifeguard class.

Pre-Course Skills Session:

  1. Two-person CPR-Infant

  2. Rescue a submerged victim in deep water following one-person CPR-Adult

  3. Review all water skills (entries, approaches, rescues, extrication, immobilization)

Failure to complete the online course or the pre-course skill session will result in removal from the class. No refund will be given for failure to complete these pre-course requirements.
